Description
Sequel to BIO 231. Considers several advanced topics in statistical inference. Topics include limit theorems, multivariate delta method, properties of maximum likelihood estimators, saddlepoint approximations, asymptotic relative efficiency, robust and rank-based procedures, resampling methods, and nonparametric curve estimation.Course Note: Cross-listed, HSPH must register for HSPH course.Course Prerequisites: BST231 and BST240, or permission of instructor required.Formerly BIO251
